How to suture wound tissue?? - Ten Principles of Suturing- (Part I)

Taken from textbook "Illustrated Manual of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery"

1. The needle should be placed approximately 1/4 from its threaded end. Any closer to the suture will cause its breakage .

2. Needle penetration should be perpendicular to surface tissue 

Put needle 90 degrees to tissue surface

3. The Needle should be move in tissue according to its curvature

Move needle as its curvature
